Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig-Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa (Retd), was, on Monday, joined by the Chairman of Fagge local government in Kano state, Ibrahim Shehi, to give out sewing machines to about 50 rehabilitated drug users in the state.
This gesture was part of post-rehabilitation empowerment efforts by the NDLEA and the Fagge Local Government Administration held at the Council secretariat in Kano, today, Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
While on arrival in Kano on Monday to meet with governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, in his ongoing War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) and trafficking in the country, the NDLEA Chairman and CEO, Brig-Gen. Muhammed Buba Marwa also had a consultative meeting with the Wali Kano, Mahe Bashir, who stood in for the Emir of Kano when Marwa led top officials of the Agency on an advocacy visit to the Emir’s palace.
General Marwa, same Monday, August 30, 2021, also met with the Dagacin Badawa, Alhaji Zakariyu Abubakar, along with his Agency's top officials during their visit to the Badawa community in Kano on the NDLEA's War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) advocacy visitations. NNL.
