Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has inaugurated a transition committee that would review the performance of his administration in its first term and provides a roadmap for another four years.
Inaugurating the committee at the Government House Bauchi, Governor Mohammed said the Committee is also expected to identify the challenges recorded in the various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of government before setting up the new administration.
He noted that members of the committee were selected from across the twenty local government areas in the state with the state's former Deputy Governor, Arch. Audu Sule Katagum, as Chairman while the Governor's Principal Private Secretary, Pharmacy Sama'ila Burga, is to serve as the Secretary.
Other critical members of the committee, according to the Governor, include Commissioners, Local Government Caretaker Committee Chairmen as well as Heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of the Bauchi government.
While appreciating the opportunity to serve the state for a second term, governor Bala Mohammed assured the citizens of the state that he would consolidate on the achievements recorded by his administration.
Speaking on behalf of the committee, the Chairman, Arch. Audu Sule Katagum, appreciated the Governor for the appointment and expressed commitment to ensure a successful transition.
The committee is to submit its report in three weeks. NNL.
