* Coach Majin Describes The Sunday With Visiting Shooting Stars As a Challenging Encounter

Lone goal from Niger Tornadoes football club's Abdulrasheed Dabai on Sunday at the Bako Kontagora memorial stadium, Minna saved the team from relegation in the concluding encounter of the Nigeria Football Premier League (NPFL).

This is coming as the Head Coach, Niger Tornadoes, Mohammed Majin has described the Sunday battle with visiting Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) team as one of the most challenging encounters his club has faced.

Both teams were in high spirit at the inception and throughout the encounter displayed exceptional football skill as they fiercely battled each other until the penalty against the visiting team.

The lone goal which came through penalty kick in favour of the host, Niger Tornadoes came less that ten minutes into the end of first half.

Speaking to Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Majin who became emotional as he recalled the behind the scene efforts for his team to escape relegation thanked God for his prayers answered.

"Between 2025 and 2026 season, playing Shooting Stars in today's match, 38 is one of the toughest and most challenging", he said.

According to Majin, "Playing 3SC was very tough, it was as if we were not making any headway when we started, but God finally answered our prayers. It wasn't that easy". NNL.
