The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing, on Wednesday, expressed the British Government's readiness to partner Nasarawa State Government on Agriculture and Infrastructure development to improve the economic growth of the State.
Catriona Laing, disclosed this when she paid a two days official visit to Nasarawa State Government. She said there was Africa economic summit that discussed the mining potential in Nigeria.
Laing, said," Because of rich mineral potential in Nasarawa State, the British Government will partner the state to develop the sector on improved living conditions of the people of the State," she noted.
The British High Commissioner also lauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for the construction of Keffi- Abuja road in other to ease gridlock on the highway.
Responding, governor Abdullahi Sule said Nasarawa State is committed to transforming the economy of the State, create wealth, and also create jobs for the people of the State.
He said the Nasarawa State Government is welcoming the UK government in the area of Agriculture, mining, infrastructure, and Education.
Sule further applauded the British government for its extensive effort in contributing to Nigeria and its people in a direct and indirect way. NNL.
