The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Malam Mele Kyari, has expressed gratitude to Stakeholders and Nigerians for their enthusiasm regarding his re-appointment by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Kyari, while expressing deep appreciation for the congratulatory Goodwill messages being extended to him over his re-appointment, however said he viewed the re-appointment as a renewed challenge in which he is spurred to committment to stabilizing the nation's oil industry and enhancing service delivery for increased revenue for the country
For this reason, the NNPC Limited GCEO, according to a statement on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Limited, Mr Olufemi Soneye, "humbly appeals to stakeholders in the oil sector and fellow Nigerians to support the company under his leadership to ensure the success of its mandate".
The statement also said the GCEO consequently "requests all parties concerned to refrain from issuing congratulatory messages on his reappointment".
Kyari emphasizes the necessity for all stakeholders' commitment to drive revenue growth and fortify resilience for the naira and the economy. NNL.
