On Saturday, December 11, Megan Thee Stallion, the 26-year-old rapper and certified hot girl accepted her bachelor's degree in health administration from Texas Southern University. To ensure that all of the hotties around the world were able to attend, Meg live-streamed her commencement ceremony to them.
“Good morning hotties !!! "It's graduation dayyyy," Megan posted enthusiastically on Twitter, along with the perfect hashtag for the event: #MeganTheeGraduate. She shared a link to a live stream along with her graduation photos and returned to Instagram after the event to share more pictures, including a picture of her in her cap and gown. "WE DID IT HOTTIES," she wrote.
For months, Megan invited fans to celebrate with her throughout her college journey. Besides spearheading scholarships for women of color, the rapper has encouraged others to pursue their dreams.
According to Meg, in previous interviews, her family has been a large motivation for her to pursue education, and other women have been supportive and cheered on from within her family. Graduation has been a dream I've had for a long time. "I've been in college for probably about seven years, so when I get my degree, I'll know that whatever I set my mind to, I can accomplish," Megan stated in an episode of Coach Conversations earlier this year. “I wanted to be a rapper, I put all my time and my effort into that, I wanted to get my degree, I put a lot of time and effort into this.”
