Tragedy has struck the family of Nigeria’s media professionals with the sudden death of a veteran female journalist, Raheemat Momodu.
Momodu reportedly died on Tuesday on her way to a medical facility after she slumped in a meeting.
A reports by thegazellenews.com said that the news of her death was broken by another veteran female journalist, Joke Kujenya via her Facebook wall.
According to Kujenya, Momodu, former National President of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) died on Tuesday, 14 June 2022.
She was reported to be having a meeting when she slumped and died when she was being rushed to the hospital.
