Rave-of-the-moment socialite and self-acclaimed money bag, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as 'Obi Cubana', has been invited for questioning by Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crime Commission, (EFCC).
Following his invitation, Obi Cubana arrived at the Abuja headquarters of the Anti-graft Commission at midday on Monday, November 1, to meet a waiting EFCC officials who allegedly interrogated him over yet to be confirmed allegations of money laundering and tax fraud-related matters.
The Anambra-born hospitality business mogul has been the rave of the moment on social media and in society celebrity circles as a new money bag since the news of the lavish burial of his mother in Oba, Anambra state, made headlines in the media.
When Channels TV reportedly contacted, the spokesman of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, to confirm the presence of Obi Cabana at the Commission's head office on Monday, he was quoted to have said he was yet to be briefed on the development. NNL.
