Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, of Adamawa State, welcomes North East Governors Forum for Regional Meeting of Governors of the North East states of Nigeria.
The Governor's are arriving Yola for a crucial meeting at the Government House.
Governor Fintiri will be playing host to his counterparts in a meeting believed to focus on the security situation of the north Eastern states, poverty and unemployment, among other issues.
The Governor through his Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Muhammed B. Tukur, said ”the Governor welcomes his counterparts of Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Yobe and Taraba states to the land of beauty for the third meeting of the North East Governor’s Forum.”
“Without any iota of doubt, as people of the ravaged North East region, we are optimistic that the Governors will come up with communiqué that will not only tackle some incessant challenges but bring out a comprehensive blueprint for speedy development of the region,” the Governor said. NNL.
