The Anambra State Police Command, on Wednesday, the third day of activities marking the 2026 National Police Day Celebration, has reinforced its commitment to improved security service delivery and community-oriented policing through a strategic collaboration with Premium Trust Bank.

The Command conducted a security advocacy visit to selected schools, during which officers engaged students and staff on safety awareness, crime prevention, and the importance of cooperating with law enforcement agencies. The initiative is aimed at fostering a culture of security consciousness among young people.

Additionally, the Command extended alms to members of the public as part of its humanitarian outreach, underscoring the Police’s dedication not only to law enforcement but also to the welfare and well-being of the community.

These activities, according to SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Command's Public Relations Officer, highlight the Command’s resolve to strengthen public trust, promote community policing, and build a safer and more inclusive society.

In attendance include, ASP Agaba Alexander Anambra Police Campaign against Cultism and Other Vices POCACOV Coordinator and the representative of the Premium Trust Bank, Ms Stella Umezinwa and her entourage.

The Anambra State Police Command reassures Ndi Anambra of its continued commitment to protecting lives and property while maintaining a people-friendly approach to policing. NNL.
