The All Progressive Congress (APC) top governorship contender in Adamawa State, Dr. Salihu Bakari Girei, has saluted all Christians in Adamawa State, calling for forgiveness and cohessiveness.
Speaking in Yola, Adamawa State capital, Dr Girei said the Christian community must ensure togetherness so that the spirit of brotherhood can spread among the people of the state.
He said a time like Easter calls for unity to show sacrifices of love that the Lord Jesus Christ showed by laying down his life for the people.
He called on the Christian communities to imbibe the sacrifices of the lord and show examplary love to the world to learn from the huge sacrifices of Jesus Christ.
Girie pointed out that mankind has suffered so much humiliation in a world that God Almighty gave freely. "Therefore, we must start to show cohessiveness and true love to one another.
