Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring security and improving economic conditions in the state, even as Christians mark Good Friday and Easter.
In an Easter message on Friday, the governor acknowledged the prevailing socio-economic challenges in the country, including global economic pressures and rising energy costs driven by international conflicts.
He, however, assured residents that his government remains focused on safeguarding lives and property while implementing policies aimed at alleviating hardship and promoting economic stability.
Governor Mohammed emphasized that Easter offers a period for reflection on sacrifice, resilience, and renewal, urging citizens to draw strength from the season to remain hopeful.
He also highlighted ongoing collaboration with the Federal Government to address pressing economic and security concerns. The governor called for sustained public support, noting that collective effort, prayers, and unity are essential to overcoming current challenges. NNL.
