The newly appointed Caretaker Chairman of Shongom local government area of Gombe State, Mr. Yohanna Nahari, said the state Governor, Inuwa Yahaya Mohammed led Administration has provided more dividends of democracy to the people of Gombe state in three years when compared with other previous Administrations in the state.

Nahari who spoke to NIGERIAN NEWSLEADER Newspaper Correspondent shortly after taking the oath of office, stressed that Governor Inuwa Yahaya's developmental projects in the state cuts across different sectors of the state, especially in the provision of schools, road networks, hospitals and human development, to mention a few.

"If Democracy is all about providing the dividends of democracy to the people even at the grassroots, then I can confidently tell you that our people have enjoyed the dividends of democracy under this administration led by Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mohammed, especially in the areas of health, Education, road networks and human development", he said.

The Council Chairman noted that he is very confident that his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) will win all the political positions in the state in the forthcoming General Election because of the track record of the governor in this past three years.

"When you compare the performance of the Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mohammed in this three and half years with other previous Administrations, you will see that this administration has performed excellently well and the people of the state have seen the vision of the governor in his efforts to transform the state. So I am confident that they will vote for governor Inuwa Yahaya Mohammed into office for the second term so that he will continue with his developmental projects and provide more dividends of democracy to the people", he added.

Nahari also promised to build on areas he didn't perform when he served as the elected Chairman of Shongom local government area of Gombe state two years ago.

"I have served for two years and I know where I performed well and areas I did not, so I see this reappointment as an opportunity to do more for our people, especially in the areas of security so that our people will feel safe in their farms.

"I know to whom much is given, much is also expected. That is why we will also mobilize our people to vote for our party APC in the general election so that they can continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy as they have experienced in this first term of Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mohammed led Administration", Nahari stated.
