Grassroots political mobilisation in Bauchi State has received a boost following the donation of 25 vehicles by Senator Shehu Buba Umar to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The buses, presented at the APC secretariat in Bauchi, are to be distributed across the state to support party activities at various levels.
According to the senator’s representative, Hon. Aminu Mohammed Danmalaki, the initiative is designed to deepen the party’s engagement with communities and ensure wider coverage of its programmes.
He said each of the 20 local government areas would receive a vehicle, while additional units would be assigned to the state and zonal offices.
Danmalaki described the senator as a grassroots-oriented leader committed to addressing the needs of the people through sustained political and developmental interventions.
Receiving the vehicles, APC Chairman Muhammad Hassan Tilde praised the senator’s contribution and urged party members to remain united.
He said the vehicles would play a key role in reaching remote communities and strengthening the party’s presence across Bauchi State. NNL.
