According to a statement by NIMC’s Head of Corporate Communications, Mr. Kayode Adegoke, the NIMC continues to strengthen its partnership with NPC and other government agencies to ensure that NINs are issued to all Nigerians, with a focus on enrolling children under the age of 16. Plans are in place to reach underserved areas across the country.
Engr. Coker-Odusote noted that over 109 million NINs have been issued so far, with 20% of these belonging to children. She emphasized NIMC's commitment to completing the enrollment of all Nigerians and legal residents in a timely manner.
