* As Physical Screening Exercise Begins At The State Police Headquarters In Awka

The Anambra State Police Command, on Monday, received the Police Recruitment Team at the State Police Command Headquarters, Awka.
The team comprised officials from the Police High Command, the Police Service Commission, the Federal Character Commission, the Federal Ministry of Police Affairs and other relevant stakeholders.
The recruitment team is to oversee the physical and credential screening exercise for candidates who recently applied for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force.
The screening exercise takes place daily from Monday March 9th to April 18, 2026, at the Anambra State Police Headquarters.
Candidates shortlisted for the recruitment process are expected to appear for the screening on their scheduled dates with all required documents, including original copies of their credentials and other necessary materials.
The Anambra State Police Command urges all candidates to remain orderly, comply with the screening guidelines, and cooperate with officials throughout the exercise.
Spokesman of the Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said in a statement on Monday, that the Command reiterates that the exercise is free and that no fee is attached to it. NNL.
