The Police Service Commission (PSC), on Thursday, announced the promotion of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).
AIG Jimoh whose performance as Lagos Police Boss under the retired former Inspector General of Police, Dr Kayode Egbetokun has been well commended by Lagosians and the police high command, was a former Police Force Public Relations Officer between 2016 and 2018, a position he equally performed creditably.
Among other Commissioners of Police who were elevated along with Jimoh, are Messers Dantawaye Miller, a former Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT); and Ibrahim B. Maikaba, a former Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State among others.
The PSC also elevated 17 Deputy Commissioners of Police to the next of of full Commissioners. The newly promoted officer are currently awaiting their new poster. NNL.
