Members of the Civil Society Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN) have commended the smooth transition of leadership following the election of new executives in Bauchi State.

The exercise, held at the WEIN head office, produced Dabis Mwalike as the new State Coordinator, alongside other officers elected unopposed.

The outgoing coordinator, Madam Maureen Jibrin, urged members to support the new leadership, while the National President tasked the executives with strengthening nutrition advocacy and programme implementation.

Members advised the new leadership to adopt inclusive governance and intensify efforts toward achieving CS-SUNN’s goals in Bauchi State.

Those who were elected into various positions include Alhassan of Taimako Initiative as Secretary; Zainab Yakubu of Afrihub as Chairperson, Advocacy; Kamal Ali Bello of WCY as Chairperson, Capacity Building; Mrs. Dinah Daniel of Fahimta as Chairperson, Research and Policy; Femi Alagbe of MAIN as Chairperson, Partnership and Collaboration; and Henry Barnabas of Rahama as Chairperson, Finance and Fundraising.

The outgoing State Coordinator, Madam Maureen Jibrin of WEIN, was named the first Ex-Officio member. NNL.
