Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State said his government will collaboration with the state police command to establish Mobile Courts for the prosecution of perpetrators of various forms of crime and criminality in the State.

The development was part of the present Administration's commitment to tackle and address the prevalence of youth restiveness, especially the menace of Sara Suka which is more pronounced in the State capital.

Mohammed made the statement when he received in audience the newly posted commissioner of Police, Musa Muhammad Auwal, at the Government House, in Bauchi.

The Governor who was highly disturbed by latest attitude of the youths, informed the Commissioner that the activities of criminals is gradually resurfacing, hence the move to take effective action to secure the citizens.

According to the Governor, his administration would equally introduce additional empowerment programmes aimed at engaging the unemployed youths in useful ventures.

In his address, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Musa Muhammad Auwal who acknowledged the security challenges, however informed the Governor that already measures are being taken to salvage the state from the notorious acts.

According him, upon assuming office, he visited and solicited support from traditional leaders and heads of sister security agencies in a bid to strengthen stronger collaboration. NNL.
