A system is the interacting processes which occurs within a conglomeration of different functional parts a thing to form a whole and as well realize its purpose or objectives. A system actualises its purpose by working together of its different parts.
My experience and test of other countries like United Kingdom, USA and others have proven to me that Nigeria is a scam; an organization without a system. Nigeria has no system. A system combines its functional parts to form a whole. A systemic organisation, institution or a nation provides a functional judiciary, education system, commerce and industry, healthcare, sports, technology, research centers, communication and so on to build a good economy and proper human capacity development.
Chinua Achebe once said that the trouble with Nigeria is leadership. I would rather add that the led is part of the problem in Nigeria. The unproductivity of both the leaders and the led are the contributive factors to the general unproductive challenges of Nigerian-state.
The unconcerned attitude or behaviour of the led is among the factors leaving Nigeria to its deplorable state. Many are not concerned of the corruption and squandermenia mentality of the leaders as far as they are getting their share of the loots of the common resources.
The youths who are said to be the future tomorrow are no longer concerned and interested in the affairs of their nation leaving the yet unborn unfuturistic. Their futures have been sold by their political representatives both in the Senate and House of Reps; down to the State government and House of Assemblies, little down to the Local government and Councillors, and still down to the community leaders - men and women, finally to their parents - fathers and mothers who have abandoned their primary responsibilities.
In the education sector, teachers, lecturers, VCs and others who are charged with the educational activities, have destroyed and continued to destroy the educational system. All hopes is bargained and sold.
Quo vadis?
Where do we go from here?
Families, community leaders, Local government Chairmen and women, House of Assembly members, State Governors, Presidency, Senate and Federal House of Representative members, ministers of states and federal, commissioners and all others involved in human affairs should work together for the benefit of all. We need to build a formidable system for the development of Nigeria that will stand the test of the time, and working and functional to meet global standard.
Nigeria, I hail thee. I wish you well.
