Sexual harasement of women in Nigeria has taken a new dimension ooo!
The recent event and accusation by the suspended female senator from the National Assembly, Senator Natasha Akpoti- Uduaghan against the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment should be a big lesson for all men.
The bible injunction that warned man from looking at a woman lustfully to avoid mentally commiting of adultery with her has been taken to a higher level in Nigeria . In the above case with our senators, men should now know that sexual harassment has taken a new turn where by lustfully looking at or admiring a woman, physically or otherwise and captured on camera could constitute not only sexual harassment but that a case may be Instituted against the offender in court.
That was what the women who gathered in Abuja recently to demonstrate in support of their female colleague ,Senator Natasha, were demanding from the Senator: "Just prove to us with evidence where the Senate President, Senator Akpabio was physically lusting after you or positively commenting on your beauty either on Facebook, WhatsApp or on any social media platforms or even jokenly admiring you on a recoded video or audio. Just do that and that's will be sufficient for us to nail him for sexual harassment," the women mentained.!
Men , be careful on how you look lustfully at women nowadays, your eyes could bring troubles which you never bargain for !.. The women are much wiser and more aggressive now than before!
When you see some beautiful girls or women on your Facebook page requesting you to be her boy friend of think twice before you click "accepted". This could be a trap to nail you in future for sexual harassment. Be wise. women have come up with new tricks.
If Senator Akpabio escapes this one, it will serve as a lesson for his usual cracks of jokes with everything including women: physically or on social media. NNL
