President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, forwarded the name of his Special Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie and three others to the Senate for confirmation of their new appointment as National Commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Onochie represents Delta State at the Commission.
Those appointed with Lauretta are Prof. Mohammed Sani (Katsina), Prof. Kunle Ajayi (Ekiti), and Seidu Ahmed (Jigawa). President Buhari's letter was read by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, on the floor of the Senate at plenary on Tuesday. NNL.
