Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential hopeful, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, has predicted a gale of the defection of more All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers in Ebonyi State House of Assembly to the opposition PDP by next month, March.
Anyim made this political projection on Wednesday at a meeting of PDP stakeholders in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital while addressing them. He also predicted that the PDP would soon take over the leadership of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly from the control of the ruling APC.
The former Senate President and ex-Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) however added that "without the 9 lawmakers, you won't be able to get 2/3rd majority in the Ebonyi House of Assembly to do anything".
Senator Anyim thereafter accused the 15 (Fifteen) lawmakers of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the State Assembly of trying to control everything that happens in the house. He further urged his PDP party members to remain committed to the PDP's agenda in the state. NNL.
