A frontline politician and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon Rayyanu Iliyasu, has advised opposition political parties in Nasarawa not to waste their resources to contest the governorship election in the state.

According to the Talba Babba of Lafia, Gov Sule has brought high level of honesty and integrity into governance, through prudent management of the merger resources that accruing to the state from the Federation Account.
“We have seen the massive infrastructural development across the urban and rural areas of the state. Lafia is now one of the fastest growing state capital in the country from it’s earlier status of a glorified local government area".
“In the area of healthcare delivery, the medical outreach programme initiated by this administration targeting rural and hard-to-reach areas, has greatly reduced maternal and infant mortality rate as well as curbing infectious diseases spread among rural folks.
“His achievements in education, agriculture, security amongst others, have been tremendous.”
He said the governor deserves commendation for the number of agro-allied industries that are springing up across the state, noting that without providing the enabling environment and luring investors to take advantage of the many potentials that are abound in the state, such feat wouldn’t have been possible.
