A political group in Adamawa State have passed a vote of confidence on the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, ahead of the Saturday March 11 governorship and State Assembly elections.
The group known as Lamurde for Good Governance, passed the vote of confidence on the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri and the member representing Lamurde, Numan and Demsa federal constituency Kwamoti Laori,
The Group in a press conference also passed a vote of confidence on the member representing Lamurde at Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Bauna Myandasa and Bulus Daniel, Chairman Lamurde Local government Council
Chairman of the network, Mr Kevin Damara, who announced this position during a press conference of the group in Lamurde, said the four political leaders deserved more than just a vote of confidence, and appealed to the electorates to encourage good continuity by ensuring that the representatives return to their seats
Damara defined Lamurde Network for Good Governance as a non-partisan and non-profit organization made up of people of proven character and good standing and committed to ensuring that good governance is achieved in all spheres in the state.
According to the group, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has proven to be a selfless leader who has fulfilled his political promises. According to him, this is evident in his spread of people oriented projects not only in Lamurde area of the state, but across the twenty one local government areas of Adamawa. NNL.
