Patrick Fakoya, who was a former housemate of Big Brother in Naija season 3, died after he got into a car crash.
The announcement was made on Twitter by his fellow former BBNaija housemates, Tobi Bakre and Sandra Alexandra, aka Alex Unusual.

In an effort to raise funds for his treatment, Nigerian entertainers organized a fundraiser yesterday. In a tweet, Bakre wrote, "This is how I will always remember you.". Rest in Peace, my Brother” while Alex Tweeted: “This was not what we agreed Rico. Rest In Peace #ricoswavey.”

Through his Twitter account, his management posted a video of the crashed car and asked for prayers. Rico Swavey's management announced Wednesday that he was in the hospital on life support.
