Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has chosen his 55th birthday anniversary to commission the 2.5km Njobbore road in Vunoklang, Girei Local Government of Adamawa State.
While acknowledging it as a birthday gift, Governor Fintiri commended residents of the area for their support and prayers during the construction of the project. He noted that he will continue to make life better for the common man across the State.
The eight-month contract was initiated and completed by the Fintiri-led administration, closing the gap between flash floods and erosion menace which the people had experienced decades ago in the area.
The residents of this area came out to witness the official flag-off of the road performed by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the company of his deputy, Chief Crowther Seth, and other top government functionaries.
The Adamawa State Commissioner for Works and Energy, Adamu Atiku Abubakar, commends the Governor's effort in his giant strides in infrastructure and other developmental projects in various areas the state.
There were goodwill messages through the district head of Girei, presentation of awards, and entertainment.
The Governor who clocked 55 years, said the birthday has given him the opportunity to reach out more to the people with projects that would lift life of the very poor people of Adamawa state. NNL.
