Imo State Commissioner for Homeland Security and Vigilante Affairs and a literary writer, Dr Ugorji Okechukwu Ugorji, is set to launch his new books on Homeland Security and some of his significant literary works.
A statement at the weekend on the book launch, said the Imo State Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and the African Writers Endowment (AWE) Princeton, New Jersey, United States of America, in association with the Imo State Ministry of Culture and Creative Arts, will present the books titled: "Securing the Homeland" and "ILU: African Proverbs in Igbo, With English Translations". The event will hold on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, by 11 a.m, at the Conference Centre of the Ministry of Culture and Creative Arts (former temporary chambers of the Imo State House of Assembly), New Owerri.
The book presentation which are the 'Significant Works of Dr Ugorji Okechukwu Ugorji', has the governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodimma, as the Special Guest of Honor, while the Imo State Commissioner for Culture and Creative Arts, Maazi (Dr) Uche Ohia, will be the Chief Host. NNL.
