The Senior Special Assistant to governor Abdullahi Sule on security matters, Engineer, Moses Utondo, on Sunday, described the death of Hassan Sule, the first son of the governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Sule, as shocking and painful.

He said the death of the "young, promising, resilience industrious Hassan" was difficult to believe and the vacuum it created was also difficult to fill.

Engineer Utondo's icondolence message to the governor, reads in parts: I'm deeply touched, but consoled that the young Hassan lived a worthy life that would be greatly missed.

"My heartfelt condolences to the Governor and his family on the tragic death of his worthy son, Hassan. My prayers and condolences goes to the government and people of the State over the recent tragedy involving herdsmen.

"God took him away to test the resilience and faith of the family and the entire state at this crucial moment of the governor. God didn’t seek the permission of the family especially his father and mother because He God was ready to take him away, so that is what life is all about", Utondo consoled.

"It is with great shock and grief that I convey this message of condolence on behalf of my family to HE, the Executive governor of the state, Engineer Abdullahi Sule and the First Lady of the state, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule and the entire people of Nasarawa state over the demise of Hassan AA Sule".

In their condolence message, the opposition People's Democratic party (PDP) Atiku/Ombugadu Campaign Council and all critical stakeholders of the Party, said it received with deep shock the news of the demise of Alhaji Hassan Abdullahi A. Sule, eldest Son of governor Abdullahi Sule who passed on on Thursday.

The party in a statement issued and signed by the Director of pPublicity and Media Affairs of the Campaign Organization in the state, Dr Mike Omeri, said the party was deeply devastated when the news filtered the air in the state.

According to the statement, "We are deeply touched with our heartfelt condolences as we mourn with our Governor, Engr. A A Sule over the demise of our son, Hassan Abdullahi Sule" . The statement prayed God Almighty to grant the demised soul, aljannah firdausi, the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.

In the same vein, the party commiserated with the government and people of Nasarawa State, the Royal father, the Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah Onawo, over the killings of several fulani victims in Doma Local Government Area.

While praying for the victims and their families, the party condenmed the continuous killing of innocent citizens in the state generally which it observed was unwarranted and called on all security services to investigate and bring the culprits to book.

Similarly, the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Nasarawa state also expressed shock over the death of Alhaji Hassan Abdullahi Sule, the first son of the state governor, Abdullahi Sule.

IPAC Chairman in the state , Hon Cletus Ogah, in a condolence statement said the council received with great shock and grief the death of the governor son.

"The news of the death of Hassan Sule come as a surprise, painful and colossal loss to the entire state which is difficult to accept and believe, We can not question God because He is the giver and the taker", Ogah stated

Ogah who described the late Hassan as a promising, humble and cherished young man whose resilience, industrious disposition will be greatly missed, prayed God to give Governor Sule, the State First Lady; Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, the entire family and the people of the state at large the fortitude to get over the great loss

Hon. Ogah noted that the demise of late Hassan which is difficult to comprehend was a test from God, not only for the governor and his immediate family, but also for the entire state and Nigeria at large.

The statement added that the death of Hassan was a great shock and painful one but inevitable to every mortal that will occur whenever God so desired. He urged Governor Abdullahi Sule, his family, friends and the entire citizens of Nasarawa state to see his demise as the will of God and to continue to pray for the repose of his soul.

We woke up this morning with the sad and shocking news of our dear son, Hassan, the son of his Excellency Governor Abdullahi Sule. What can we say? God Almighty is the sole giver and taker of life. This is one death too many at this time,

"It is very shocking, painful and colossal, may the Almighty God accept all his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in his final abode and comfort us all”, Ogah added. NNL.
