Governor Abdullahhi Sule of Nasarawa state, the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Abdullahi Balarabe Ibrahim, on friday, expressed shock over the sudden death of the Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Area, Emmanuel Joseph Leweh.
The governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Addra, described the late council boss as a vibrant gentleman and visionary leader who made great contributions to the development of the council and the state at large.
According to the statement, Sule regretted that late Leweh’s contributions to the overall fortunes and growth of the All-Progressives Congress APC in Akwanga and the state would be greatly missed, adding that “in only a few months into his 3-year tenure, the local government Chairman shown great courage, leadership and sincere commitment to uniting the people of the area and steering the council on the path of accelerated growth”.

Governor Sule also viewed the passing away of the Council Chairman as a huge loss to the Mada nation in particular and the state in general, urging the youths in the area to consider the death of Leweh as the will of God.
He, therefore, condoles the Mada nation, the people of Akwanga local government, the APC family and the family of the deceased and urged them to pray for the repose of the soul of Emmanuel Leweh.
Similarly, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Abdullahi Balarabe Ibrahim and the leadership of the Assembly have commiserated with the governor, Akwanga community and the immediate family of late Emmanuel Joseph Eleweh of the death of the late council boss
A statement from the Assembly issued by its Chairman, House Committee on Information,. Muhammed Adamu Omadefe, described the death of the council chairman as very shocking, and a big blow to the government and people of Nasarawa State in general and Akwanga LG in particular. NNL.
