The zone 13 police Ukpo Dunukofia under the leadership of AIG Abayomi Peter Oladipo on Monday, commenced the activities for the celebration of the National Police Day 2026 in line with the directives of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu.
The activities carried out for Day 1, Monday March 30, 2026 of the Police day Celebration includes:
•Sanitation and Clean up at Ukpo market,one of the commercial hub of Dunukofia LGA
•Engagement/ town hall meetings with strategic stakeholders such as Ukpo market chairman, women leader Ukpo market and the traditional ruler of Ukpo kingdom .
This initiative, according to the Zonal Command's Spokesman, ASP Chidera Oha, underscores the theme of this year's celebration "Community partnership: Building Trust"
The zone under the leadership of AIG Abayomi remains resolute and committed in maintaining a healthy police-public relationship and the AIG also encouraged more law abiding citizens to join in the celebrations for other days. NNL.
