The recent announcement of the proposed adaptation of Chinua Achebeās classic novel Things Fall Apart as a global television series with the iconic actor, Idris Elba, starring as Okonkwo has animated the cultural firmament of the world. David Oyelowoās Studio A24 will serve as producers of the TV series in partnership with Achebe Masterworks.
Being too friendly invites a lot of disrespect. This statement, at first glance, may seem harsh or counterintuitive, especially when we are often taught that kindness and friendliness are virtues that foster positive relationships. And while thatās true, thereās a fine line between being genuinely kind and allowing others to take advantage of that kindness.
