The Coalition of Tinubu/Shettima Support Group has described as apt and strategic, the appointment of Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Babangida Nguroje, as Director, Parliamentarian, North East of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council.
The Coalition also described Tinubu as one Nigerian favorably disposed to the development, progress and unity of the country at all times.
The support group in a statement by it's National Director, Dauda Mathias, commended the selection team and the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for making what it described as the "wise choice in the appointment of a loyal, competent and experienced politician who enjoys the support of people of all categories especially the youths and vulnerable".
The group expressed confidence that Honourable Nguroje, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives will galvanize massive voter's support for the Presidential candidate beyond the North East, giving his vast experience and huge contact-base across the length and breath of Nigeria.
The group said as a decent Democrat whose goodwill defies ethnic, religious and regional sentiments, Honourable Nguroje has distinguished himself in all the positions of responsibility including his Grand- patronship of the support group.
"We are confident that he will deliver on his mandate to mobilize support for our presidential candidate", the support group stated. NNL.
