PDP DIRECTS GOMBE STATE MEMBERS TO WARD CENTRES FOR SEPTEMBER 29 PRIMARY

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has directed its eligible members in Gombe State to report to their respective ward centres on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, for its fresh governorship primary election.

The directive was contained in a statement issued by the party's State Publicity Secretary, Abdulkadir Ahmed Dukku.

Dukku said the exercise was scheduled following the nullification of the May 26, 2026 governorship primary by the Federal High Court sitting in Gombe.

He said all eligible card-carrying members of the party are expected to participate in the re-run and vote for their preferred governorship aspirant.

The party further appealed to members, supporters and other stakeholders to give the exercise maximum cooperation.

It urged participants to conduct themselves peacefully and orderly throughout the process. NNL.
