As the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination commences Thursday, April 16, 2026 across the country, the Abia State Police Commissioner, CP Danladi Isa, has ordered the immediate sustenance of security deployment across 2026 JAMB Exam centres within the state command.

The CP's directive for adequate security presence of his officers at all the approved JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) examination venues across the state, according to a statement by the Command's Spokesperson, DSP Maurene Chioma Chinaka, is in line with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu.

Chinaka said these officers are strategically positioned to maintain law and order, ensure the safety of candidates, officials, and facilities and to also prevent any form of disruption throughout the examination period.

She state that the Command remains committed to its constitutional mandate of protecting lives and property and maintaining visible Police presence across the State.
