The Abia State Police Command has advised candidates for the 2026 Physical and Credential Screening Exercise to proceed for ongoing screening as it ends on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
The screening exercise which commenced on March 9, 2026 is still ongoing at the Police Officers’ Mess, opposite Damgrete Hotel, Factory Road, Umuahia, Abia State.
A statement on Thursday by the Command's Spokesperson, DSP Maurene Chioma Chinaka, however urged applicants who missed their scheduled screening dates to avail themselves for the exercise, as it conclusively ends on 18th April 2026.
The Command assures the public that the exercise remains transparent, free and fair in compliance with the directives of the Inspector-General of Police. NNL.
