Leadership Crisis brew in Nasarawa State Sports Ministry following perceived abysmal performance of the Nasarawa United Football Club in the on-going Nigeria Premier Football League 2022/2023 season.
Following the poor outing by the club, Chairman of the club, Barr. Isaac Danladi, is currently facing sack as the leadership of the state Ministry of Sports is scouting for the replacement of the club chairman who is accused of not doing enough to lift the club.
An authority in the ministry told NIGERIAN NEWSLEADER Newspaper Correspondent on account of anonymity, that the club Chairman, Barrister Isaac Danladi, would be removed to pave way for the growth and development of the club.
"The exit door has been opened for Danladi as the state ministry of youth and sports development has concluded plans for a replacement", the source declared.
It would be recalled that the Commissioner in charge of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Amb. Isaac Lucky Yargwa, had earlier handed down a three matches ultimatum to the management of the team to salvage the club or risk their jobs.
The three matches ultimatum given the club management was to enable them justify why government should not take disciplinary action against them after their matches with Gombe united, Plateau United and Shooting stars of Ibadan.
Recall too that despite the warning, the management of the club could not record a remarkable result outside the only one point gathered which has placed the club siting bottom of the NPFL abridged league table in group A.
It would however be recalled that the team had played six NPFL matches losing five and drawing one goal with Gombe United in one of their away matches from their adopted home, Kaduna state.
