The Zone 13 police Headquarters,Ukpo-Dunukofia under the leadership of Assistant Inspector General, AIG Abayomi Peter Oladipo, has announced the commencement of the 2026 National Police Day.
This year's National Police Day, according to the Spokesman of the zonal command, ASP Chidera Oha, is themed "Community partnership: Building Trust "which underscores the importance of police-public relations in building trust and enhancing sustainable peace.
Schedules of Activities to celebrate the National Police Day are as follows :

•Sanitation and Cleaning of Motorparks and other places surburb of the state capital ....

•Walkathon for Public Engagement and Awareness also building physical fitness.Take off point will be from the Zone 13 Headquarters Ukpo

• Sensitization of the members of the public about the dangers of electoral violences ,cultism and other forms of crimes. • Sensitization of drivers about safe driving,reckless driving,overspeeding and Drunkenness.
Thursday, 2nd April 2026
•Presentation of cheques to families of fallen Heroes (deceased officers )
