An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and real estate entrepreneur, Chief Dr Charles Mba, has pledged to mobilise grassroots support for the party's candidates in Enugu State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mba, popularly known as Egbeigwe N’Orba, made the commitment at a town hall meeting with federal lawmakers from Enugu North Senatorial District and other political stakeholders at Four Points by Sheraton, Lagos.

Those present included Senator Ikeje Asogwa and House of Representatives members Dennis Agbo, Chidi Obetta and Cornell Onwubuya, who are seeking re-election in 2027.

The meeting, organised as part of Mba's “Vote APC from Top to Bottom” campaign, focused on mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu, Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah and other APC candidates across the state.

Mba also reportedly sponsored billboard campaigns across the three federal constituencies in Enugu North to publicise the party's candidates.

The initiative forms part of efforts by APC stakeholders to consolidate the party's political presence in the district ahead of the elections.

Mba is the founder and chief executive officer of CDV Properties Ltd. The meeting was organised with the involvement of Chief Emeka Odo, a former managing director of the Enugu State Board of Internal Revenue Service. NNL.
