Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, representing Niger-East Senatorial District (Zone B), over the weekend, distributed Hiace and Hijet buses and other empowerment items valued at hundreds of thousands of Naira to constituents.
The beneficiaries drawn from across the nine Local Government Areas (LGAs) that made up Zone B Senatorial District included men, women and youths of different trades and vocations.
Speaking at the event tagged, '2026 Mega Empowerment Programme' which took place at the Trade Fair complex, Minna Senator Musa popularly known as 'Sani 313' said 528 persons from each of the LGAs will benefit from the nine Trailer loads of fertilizer to boost their farming.
Senator Sani Musa represented by, Prof. Saudaki Abubakar also presented the sum of N50, 000.00 (fifty thousand Naira) each as an empowerment to enable indigent members of his constituency cope with Nigeria's harsh economic realities.
“As part of efforts to cushion the effect of the hard economic situation, each vulnerable beneficiary from the 9 LGAs will receive the sum of N50, 000 making it a total of twenty-two million, five hundred thousand Naira only".
Commending Senator Musa for the empowering his people, the Chief Political Adviser to Governor Umaru Bago of Niger state, Alhaji Nma Kolo called on the people of Zone B to reciprocate the gesture by ensuring they massively vote him for a second term come 2027 general elections.
Nma Kolo told the beneficiaries that, “Sani Musa has touched many lives and the only way to repay him is to re-elect him for a 3rd term by 2027. So, make sure you mobilize your LGAs to vote massively so that more persons can benefit from the gesture”.
Earlier, the Chairman of, Sani Musa Advisory Council, Hon. Abubakar Azozo assured Senator Sani Musa that the items will be evenly distributed to each LGAs in the Senatorial District.
“Each LGA will get 600 bags (per trailer) from the 5, 400 bags of fertilizers, 100 Hijet buses, 9 Hiace Buses, 68 Tricycles, 69 motorcycles, 663 Grinding machines, 551 Sewing machines, 500 water pumping machines, 1,118 Sprayers, 30 power generating sets and Clippers, 30 Deep freezers, 50 hair dryer, washing and drying machine".
Others items distributed by the Senator included; 39 mechanical tools, 9 professional tools, 30 plastic welding tools, 9 tiles cutting machines, 50 Solar kits, 30 washing machines and 50 number of pressing irons. NNL.
