Ahead of Thursday, August 24th, 2023 Council Elections of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) scheduled to hold at the NAF Conference Suites, Abuja, a top Presidential aspirant of the NIPR, Dr Ike Neliakuchukwu, has presented his 9-points Agenda to the Chairman, FCT Chapter of NIPR, Hajia (Mrs) Maryam Sanusi.
The presentation was done on Thursday, August 17, 2023 in Abuja at the unveiling of Neliaku's Presidency Project. Other Council members of the Institute and Exco leaders of the FCT Chapter were also present to grace the manifesto presentation.
Dr Ike Neliaku, a consummate PR guru and one of the Council members of the NIPR in the FCT Abuja Chapter is slugging out the Presidency of the Institute with another notable PR titan, Mrs Nkechi Ali-Balogun of the Lagos Chapter, at the NIPR elections in the next week's Annual General Meeting (AGM)/Conference. Both Candidates are currently campaigning hard and widely among chapter members in the states across the country.
Neliaku who is believed by his supporters as the candidate to beat in the poll, has vigorously canvassed for a stronger and pragmatic leadership as problem-solving agents in Nigeria and on the continent of Africa.
In his own words; "African leaders must be true to the peculiarity of African needs and embrace pro - African solutions to African problems".
A Presidential Campaign Support Stalwart of the NIPR, Mr Philip Okolie, captured Neliaku thus, describing him as : "Another dawn rising in the Abuja chapter of the NIPR".
He stated that "The chapter has made tremendous strides in the positive transformation and trajectory of the chapter, ushering in a spectacular, innovative, caring person in our very own Fellow, Dr. Ike Neliaku.
