A Pan-Igbo political group known as UMUNNA BU IKE-lGBOWUOTU has applauded the adoption of a consensus formula in the 2023 presidential election primaries of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The group in a statement on Tuesday by its Spokesman, Barrister Ndubuisi Nwaorgu, endorsed the consensus arrangement as approved by the APC- NEC and the Buhari Administration. The group is of the view that the formula will strengthen and ensure a better repositioning of the APC to sweep the 2023 presidential election.

UMUNNA BU IKE-IGBOWUOTU, therefore, urged Ndi-Igbo to jettison the idea of playing to the gallery and work cohesively together towards producing the next APC presidential candidate of Igbo extraction in 2023.

The spokesman of the umbrella group of all Igbo-speaking nationalities in Nigeria, Ndubuisi Nwaorgu, however, emphasized the group's readiness to back any Apc consensus choice for president in 2023.

The group however enjoined all Ndi lgbo and all the leaders and people of southern Nigeria to key into the APC consensus formula, which they believe, will promote a massive paradigm shift encompassing all lgbo people irrespective of their state or regional locations.

This, according to the UMUNNA BU IKE - IGBOWUOTU, is because lgbo people, everywhere they are, remain one united entity both in culture, ancestry, and language, hence the phrase - lgbo wu otu!. NNL.
