* Attends Management And Staff Meetings

The President, Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Dr Ike Neliaku has officially resumed duty following the completion of his annual leave.

The President returned to the Institute’s national secretariat on Monday, 2nd March, 2026 and immediately assumed responsibilities, beginning with a formal handover and management meeting.

During the session, the Vice President, Prof. Emmanuel Samu Dandaura provided a comprehensive briefing on key activities, programmes, administrative matters, and strategic engagements undertaken during the President’s absence.

The briefing covered ongoing institutional reforms, preparations for upcoming national and international engagements, and operational developments across the Institute’s structures.

Following the management session, the President attended the Institute’s weekly staff meeting, where he expressed appreciation to the Vice President, management team, and staff for sustaining momentum and ensuring institutional stability during the period of leave.

He commended the team for their dedication and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the Institute’s strategic direction, professional standards, and national relevance.

The President assured members that the Institute remains focused on delivering its mandate and advancing the profession in line with its statutory responsibilities and global commitments.

With his resumption, the Institute continues its programme calendar and strategic initiatives with renewed leadership drive. NNL.
