By Celestine Okafor (Editor-in-Chief)
For a second time in four days, Chief Ben Etiaba, the governorship flagbearer of the Action Alliance (AA) in the next Saturday November 6 gubernatorial election in Anambra state, stole the show at the Prime Business governorship debated held in Awka, Anambra state capital at weekend.
Chief Etiaba who is the first son of Nigeria’s first female Governor, Dame Virgy Etiaba, greatly impressed the electorates of Anambra state during the debate with his action plans on how he will fix the state if he ultimately emerges governor on Saturday November 6.
The Action Alliance (AA) top candidate in the poll enthralled his listeners and viewers with his programme of action which he believed would precipitate a revolution in the areas of unprecedented infrastructure, health, security, education, agriculture, women and youth empowerment and development, transportation, industrialization, mass housing, rural transformation and urban renewal, etc, among other aspects of his manifesto for ndi Anambra.
Etiaba who has continued to upset the political process in the entire Anambra campaigns with his novel approach to political marketing of his candidature, appears to have won the hearts of the people with his skillful presentation of his actions plans.
He is however proving himself as being completely capable of running Anambra state as next governor, as the Obiano administration winds down gradually with his tenure running down the ticking political clock.
Other candidates at the Saturday's debate along with Chief Ben Etiaba were: Col Geoffery Onyejepu (APM), Dr Chidozie Nwankwo (AAC), Mr Valentine Ozigbo (PDP), Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo (ADC), and Dr Obinna Uzor (SDP).
Objective observers of the Anambra 2021 governorship election are however of the view that the Action Alliance candidate, Chief Ben Etiaba, has clearly distinguished himself as the candidate best prepared for the office of Governor of Anambra State
According to the pollster's predicton at the weekend shortly at the Saturday's governorship debate, Etiaba, following his brilliant outing and coupled with the trend of his campaign and voters acceptability, might turn out the expected dark horse in the process who might emerge the next governor of Anambra state.
