For attempting to use forged documents to induce operatives of the Benin Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to release suspects on bail, the trio of Ughuoshe Adolphus, Ojeifo Godfrey, and Lewis Ogenkhewe was today July 22, 2021, arraigned on a three-count charge of conspiring to pervert the course of justice before Justice (Professor) C. A. Obiozor of the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State.

Justice Mohammed Mohammed of the Sokoto State High Court today Monday July 19, 2021 granted a final Order, forfeiting the sum of N1, 362,675,353.56 (One Billion, Three Hundred and Sixty Two Million, Six Hundred and Seventy Five Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty Three Naira, Fifty Six Kobo) to the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday, July 16, 2021, presented two more prosecution witnesses, Ademola Agbetuyi and Haruna Bamaiyi, against Abiodun Sodiq, who is facing trial for a seven-count charge bordering on forgery and conspiracy to the tune of €40,000, before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja Lagos.
