FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE ABIA COMMAND PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO THE STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

The Abia State Police Command, on Tuesday, received a delegation from the Federal Fire Service, Abia Command, Zone E, led by the State Controller, ACF Ontendi Juliet.

The visit was aimed at officially welcoming the Commissioner of Police and reaffirming the commitment of the Federal Fire Service to sustained collaboration with the Police in the discharge of their respective duties.

The delegation emphasized the importance of inter-agency cooperation, particularly in the forthcoming elections, as well as in the investigation of arson cases and other fire-related incidents. They also highlighted the need to strengthen the already existing synergy between both agencies in the state.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi, warmly received the delegation and assured them of the Command’s unwavering support and cooperation.

He stressed the importance of unity of purpose among security and emergency agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property across the state. NNL.
